Even though, as we will see shortly, we are talking about an ice cream shop, the idea did not come from an ice cream maker or a barista… but from an employee in a hardware store. It all began when Peppe felt the need to start his own business, the desire to find some time and space for himself.

Being an employee would not have allowed or guaranteed him autonomy in his work: opening and closing times must be followed and an employee has little possibility of not following the directives of his boss.

This is why Peppe decided to shake up his life and try a different path: in 2006 he opened his first hardware business, with the hopes and confidence of being able to realize his dream as an entrepreneur.

And yet… it didn’t go exactly as he hoped.
